SUMMARY The R66T Academy Festival of Cricket is aimed at under 13 school cricket teams. It provides teams with an ideal opportunity to attend a pre-season tour and experience high level coaching from the R66T Academy with match practice, all at excellent facilities at venues around the United Kingdom. Plus, the highest performing team from each festival will qualify for Finals Day at Old Trafford. The Festival of Cricket takes place 11-14th April 2023 with registration open now! Festival of Cricket - Format and Features
Based on the latest professional cricket format The Hundred, The R66T Academy Festival of Cricket has been designed with your U13 players in mind.
· Shorter, faster games (innings ideally completed within 65 minutes)
· High energy and enthusiasm levels
· Strategic play encouraged
· 2 points for a Win, 0 for a Loss and 1 for a draw/no result – taken directly from the pro game format
Your R66T Academy Festival of Cricket Includes:
3 nights at your selected venue
Full board – starting with dinner on Day 1 and Breakfast on Day 4
A full itinerary to include coaching sessions both in and outside the classroom covering all aspects of batting, bowling, fielding, fitness, match preparation and psychology.
Use of the venues first class cricket training facilities for all scheduled training sessions with R66T Academy coaching staff
